Our
head chef, Ewan Urquhart, returned to Tain after
a thirteen year absence and joined the Royal
Hotel in June 2006. His previous catering
experience includes being head chef at the
Guinea Grill Restaurant, Mayfair, London; Rules
restaurant; Harvey Nichols restaurant; and Vasco
and Piero's restaurant.
While working in London,
Ewan won numerous awards for his culinary
skills.
His main aim is to use all
fresh ingredients, with as many as
possible being locally sourced.
